1. The consumer health data we collect

2. Why we collect and use it
Only to provide the features you ask for: to show your child's growth, moods, milestones and calendar back to you, to calculate corrected age, to find your child in your own photos, and to keep your child's likeness when you use AI Magic. We do not use consumer health data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
3. Consent
The first time you save a growth measurement or a mood entry, the app asks "Save health information?" and nothing is stored unless you choose "Allow". Face recognition runs only after you allow it on its own screen, and the AI image features only after you allow them on their own screen. You can withdraw each permission at any time in Settings → Privacy.
4. Who we share it with
We do not share consumer health data with third parties for their own purposes. These service providers process it only on our behalf and under our instructions:

Growth measurements, moods, birth details and calendar entries are never sent to analytics, advertising or AI services. We disclose consumer health data to anyone else only when the law requires it.
5. Your rights
You may: confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; get a copy of it and a list of the third parties and affiliates that received it; withdraw your consent; and have it deleted. You can see and delete any entry in the app at any time, delete everything by deleting the child's profile or your account (Settings → Privacy → Delete Account, or storydays.app/delete-account), and withdraw permissions in Settings → Privacy.
To make any other request, email support@storydays.app with the subject "Health data request". We verify the request against your account, answer within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice), and never charge. Deleted data is removed from our live systems promptly and from backups within 30 days.
6. Appeals
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the subject "Appeal". We decide appeals within 45 days and explain our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General (atg.wa.gov/file-complaint) or the attorney general of your state.
